Scope and Content Mid 19th century photograph of St Paul's Chapel, Aberdeen St Paul's Chapel was built in 1721 and was the burgh's first Episcopalian meeting hall. It was a quite humble and domestic-looking building compared with many of the other public buildings erected during the 18th century.
