Scope and Content Cottages on Sanday overlooking Canna Harbour The cottages belonging to the crofts on Sanday occupy the fringe of fertile, low-lying ground along the southern shore of the harbour. View looking west along the shore. The cottages are no longer inhabited and many are now roofless. A survey of Canna and Sanday was undertaken by the Royal Commission to record all the archaeological sites and monuments and the landscape within which they lie.
