Scope and Content Profile of edge roll-mouldings of Dunstaffnage Chapel, near Dunstaffnage Castle, at the mouth of Loch Etive, Argyll Dunstaffnage Chapel's original architectural details date it to 1225-50. The burial aisle was added in 1740 when the main building was already ruinous. This was for the use of the Campbells of Dunstaffnage, hereditary Captains of Dunstaffnage castle. The outside corners of the chapel were originally decorated with this roll-moulding. However, only the upper courses now survive. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
