Scope and Content Partially reconstructed section of westernmost south window of chancel in Dunstaffnage Chapel, near Dunstaffnage Castle, at the mouth of Loch Etive, Argyll Dunstaffnage Chapel's original architectural details date it to 1225-50. The burial aisle was added in 1740 when the main building was already ruinous. This was for the use of the Campbells of Dunstaffnage, hereditary Captains of Dunstaffnage castle. This shows how the moulding of the window surround runs around the semicircular-circular rear-arch. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
