Scope and Content Temporary camps at Inveresk, Midlothian These Roman temporary camps are at Inveresk. This was one of the largest Roman sites in Scotland with both forts, camps and a civilian settlement. This is an aerial view of the site. It shows parts of two of the temporary camps.
