Scope and Content Possible henge monument at Westfield, Angus This possible henge was recorded as a cropmark on oblique aerial photographs. In part, it is represented by a broad ditch, but unfortunately the western sector is not well-defined. The position of an entrance remains unclear. The ditch of the henge can be traced for most of its circuit as a dark ring at the edge of the field on this aerial photograph. The ditches of the neighbouring enclosures can also be made out to the NW and at the edge of the adjacent field. This possible henge lies at the edge of a field and has been levelled by ploughing. The cropmarks of two enclosures can also be seen, one lying immediately to the NE, and the other a short distance to the NW. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
