Scope and Content Symbol stone from Arndilly House, Morayshire This symbol stone is at Arndilly House. It is built into the SW wall of the house, about 1 m above the ground. It is now upside down. The stone was originally found in the wall of an old church on the same site. This is a drawing of the stone which appeared in John Stuart's 1856 publication 'The Sculptured Stones of Scotland'. The two symbols carved on it are a mirror-case and a divided rectangle and Z-rod. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
