Scope and Content Reconstruction of Culross Town-house, Fife Culross Town-house was built in the early 17th century, probably replacing an early tolbooth dating from before 1588. This is what the town-house would have looked like shortly after it was built in the early 17th century, before the steeple and double forestair were added and the dormer windows were removed.
