Scope and Content Fortlet at Castle Greg, West Lothian This fortlet is built just S of the summit of Camilty Hill. It is well preserved and may indicate a existence of a minor Roman road to the W of the Pentland Hills. No such road is known however. This is a plan of the fortlet. The defences form a rounded rectangle and consist of a main rampart with a two ditches and a mound running around it. The entrance is to the E. Inside the fort was a well which is also shown here.
