Scope and Content Fort at Camps Knowe Wood, Lanarkshire The fort is built on top of a knoll which falls steeply in Casan Cleuch to the N and NE. The defences are greater on the other sides. The fort has been rebuilt several times. This is a plan of the fort. A single rampart protected the steeper sides with a double rampart and ditch to the south.
