Scope and Content Cross-slab at Eassie Churchyard, Angus The stone now stands within the ruins of Eassie Church and was originally found in the nearby burn. It has a cross carved on one side and symbols on the other. The back is now rather weathered. The cross takes up the height and width of the stone. It is decorated with interlace and keywork. Above both arms is an angel. The shaft is flanked by a warrior, with cloak, spear and square shield, a stag and other two animals. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
