Scope and Content Cross-slab at Nigg, Ross and Cromarty, Highland The cross-slab originally stood outside the church, but has been moved indoors, cleaned and repaired. It now stands in a room at the west end of the church. It is carved on both sides. The cross, decorated with interlace and keywork, is surrounded by patterns and bosses. A panel above shows St Paul and St Anthony. The reverse face shows an eagle, Pictish beast and the biblical story of David. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
