Scope and Content Chambered cairn at Clava, Inverness, Highland This is one of three chambered cairns at Clava which have given a name to the whole group of similar cairns throughout the area. The cairns stand in a small wooded enclosure next to the road. There are the remains of a Bronze Age kerb cairn nearby. This is a view of the SW cairn. The chamber would have originally had a corbelled roof and the passage would have been roofed with slabs. The original height would have been over 3 m. There is a cup marked stone in the passage.
