Scope and Content A commemorative cross, of Celtic design with relief carving and inscriptions, set in a roadside enclosure. The memorial is enclosed by rails, with a gravel path, and a stile in the near foreground. Kingarth is a parish of the island of Bute, close to the Isle of Arran and the Cowal peninsula.
