Scope and Content View of Carsfad Power Station which was constructed in 1936 as part of the Galloway Hydro-Electric Power Scheme. It is a utilitarian building, perhaps less visually appealing than most of the hydro-electric power stations built in Scotland. The power station has an operating capacity of 12 mWs.
