Scope and Content Carsfad Loch is south of the Water of Ken. Its Dam and Carsfad Power Station can be seen.These are part of the Galloway Hydro-Electric Power Scheme. The dam at the southern end of the Loch has a gross head height of 20m, and stands at 104 metres above sea level.
