Scope and Content Falkland Town-house (also known as 'Falkland Town Hall'), Fife Falkland Town-house replaced an earlier tolbooth described as 'in indifferent repair'. The architect also won the building contract. The Town-house was probably built on the site of the old tolbooth. The steeple would have been more noticeable before the building opposite was enlarged. Its clock was made by James Ritchie of Edinburgh in 1858. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
