Scope and Content Foreman's office and bunk inside sleeping quarters of salmon-bothy at Dunbeath, Highland The salmon-bothy at Dunbeath is part of the herring- and salmon-fishing station which developed in stages around the mouth of the Dunbeath Water from the early 19th century onwards. One corner of the sleeping-quarters is partitioned off to make a private bunk and cramped office for the foreman. The room also contains four bunks for the crew. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
