Date 8/4/2015
Collection Papers of James Sloan Bone, landscape historian, Inverness, Highland, Scotland
Catalogue Number DP 343486

Scope and Content The image is a close-up view of parts of Lower and Upper Drummond. While the surrounding neighbourhood is dominated by 19th-C houses and villas in spacious grounds e.g. Ach-An-Eas and Island Bank in immediate foreground, Drummond Circus consists of 20th-century detached homes on a cul-de-sac. A Pictish symbol stone, with bull carving, was found in an old wall at Ach-An-Eas; now in Inverness Museum. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
