Scope and Content Brockies Lodge Hotel sits at the junction of the A833 and the road which goes off to Kiltarlity. A building appears on this site in the 2nd ed. 6" OS map marked as a police station and Pastmap labels it as the coach house, but for at least 50 years it has been known as Brockies Lodge. There is a chambered cairn in the field below the hotel at top right. In the field at top left a metal detectorist discovered two coin hoards and the area was excavated in 2012 and 2014. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
