Scope and Content Fairways driving range and the Loch Ness Golf Course opened in 1996. The Fairways building and the Bowling Club (with the white roof) are towards the bottom centre of the photograph. Archaeological investigation ahead of development identified a Bronze Age settlement and a possible prehistoric industrial site at Slackbuie in the top centre of picture. The new Asda supermarket is at right of centre and the Inverness Gaelic Primary School, which moved from Central School to this site in 2007, is to its right. The Southern Distributor Road runs from bottom left to centre right. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
