Scope and Content Culloden House, now a hotel was built for the Forbes family in 1772-1778, the interior is in a neo classical Adam style. Parts date to when it was a Jacobean castle. It is near the site of an older house which existed at the time of the battle of Culloden. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
