Scope and Content This image shows the housing development of Culduthel Mains, just S of the Inverness southern distributor road. The trees in the foreground, just above the roundabout, contain a Clava-type ring cairn. At bottom R the circular structure is a "balancing pond". The new houses just L of centre are part of the Culduthel Farm development, built on the site of a major Iron Age iron-working area.
