Scope and Content This is a view of the Tesco supermarket at Holm Roundabout. No archaeological features were identified during a watching brief carried out in advance of this development in 2010. The B862 which runs from left to right takes the line of the 1732 Wade road. There is further development in the fields between the store and the river, but very little of archaeological importance was identified during the watching brief in advance of this. This view also shows the Holm area of Inverness and in the woods at the centre of picture there is a mediaeval motte.
