Scope and Content In the centre of the photo is Tesco Supermarket built on the site of the former Auction Mart. To the left is St Clement's Church, 1801, built close to the site of the pre Reformation Old Church of Dingwall, burnt in 1731. The scant remains in the graveyard are known as St Clement's Aisle. To the left of the Church in the carpark is the obelisk memorial to the Earl of Cromarty. It could also be the Viking Ting.
