Scope and Content This is a view of the Muirtown Basin and Sea Lock Basin of the Caledonian Canal at Clachnaharry, Inverness. There are several sites relating to the Caledonian Canal and the C19 fishertown of Clachnaharry, which occupies the triangle of land between the road and the canal towards the top left of picture. The large modern building at centre left is the Clachnaharry Care Home, closed in 2013, below which is Clachnaharry House. The Scorguie development is above the road and to the left. The railway line to the north and west loops round, crossing the canal at the swing bridge. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
