Scope and Content This is a close view of the southern section of Nigg Fabrication Yard, opened in 1972. There is evidence of saltworks in the basin at the centre of the picture. Pitcalzean House (C19) is amongst the trees at top centre, and there is evidence of prehistoric remains in the field to its left.
