Scope and Content A general view of Avoch with the 19th century harbour in the centre, its entrance on the left marked by a beacon. Below the harbour in the fields beyond the village a snow filled channel running from the right to bottom left is a former drove road. Bottom right is Avoch Parish Church and churchyard with the manse a little to its left, close to where the drove road enters the village. A little above that entry point the very prominent roof below the brae is the Congregational Church and to its right the associated manse. These latter two buildings and most of those to their left and above are within the village conservation area which comprises a range of mostly 19th century houses, cottages and other features.
