Scope and Content This view shows a field adjacent and to the east of the small settlement of Stittenham, the B9716, previously the A9 can also be seen. The field has no recorded archaeological remains but adjacent to the SW there is a small wood with a number of prehistoric cairns, including chambered cairns also a Class 1 Pictish symbol stone (Canmore ID 13738). Adjacent to the north a "drove stance" is marked on old maps. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
