Scope and Content This view shows the former Nigg Oil Platform Fabrication Yard (Canmore ID 14477 and 288768), now in use for the manufacture of offshore wind turbines, and the Nigg Oil Pipeline Terminal (Canmore ID 288784). Also at this location is a former "salt works" (HER MHG32372) marked on the 1st Edition OS map. The view also shows Pitcalzean House (Canmore ID 107919) in the wooded area in the foreground.
