Scope and Content This is a close view of the Royal Navy Port Fuel Depot at Invergordon. The first tanks were installed c.1913 and they were used during WW1 and WW2. The area has many sites associated with naval activity during both wars. The east pier can be seen at top right with its control tower and naval signal station.
