Scope and Content Aboyne Airfield and Deeside Gliding Club are represented by the grass strip, at very centre of the image, on the North side of the River Dee. Waterside Cottages are on the N of the Dee, at the kink in the river. A modern sawmill at Burnfoot on the South side of the river is on the site of a WW2 timber camp.
