Scope and Content An Dun Broch lies on a terrace above the Berriedale Water and is surrounded by the remains of prehistoric and post-medieval settlement including a cairn (obscured here by bracken) and five roundhouses with associated clearance cairns and field walls (named on the record as Millery Pool). There is an extensive post-medieval settlement centred on a substantial longhouse, ancillary building and enclosure centred at ND 10601 24814 but not currently recorded on either Canmore or Highland HER. A building and possible rig and furrow have been recorded further S beside the Berriedale Water at ND 10609 24679.
