Scope and Content A small unnamed settlement lies below Dun da Lamh Fort (just lying outside the top of this photo) with a more general view of part of Strath Mashie and the more recent forestry plantation. This plantation now forms part of a community woodland and has been subject to detailed archaeological survey. Spey Dam can just be seen at the top right as well as the River Mashie, together with a substantial drainage channel that may possibly be connected with the forestry plantation. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
