Scope and Content A small unnamed farmstead lies here, reputedly cleared before 1850, consisting of a longhouse aligned WNW/ESE and at least four buildings aligned more N/S, with associated enclosures and remnant dykes. A second longhouse aligned more NW/SE is visible on this photo but not recorded on the current OS mapping. No buildings were shown here on the OS first edition survey of 1852.
