Scope and Content Proncy motte was possibly built in the early 13th century. The mortared stone walls of a rectangular tower were recorded in the early 20th century as standing here in the middle of the mounded enclosure and these now show as turf covered foundations. The mound has suffered from quarrying in the past. Proncy Farmhouse and steading is at bottom L. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
