Scope and Content A general view with the present farmhouse and outbuildings centre left. Directly above the farmhouse and across the road, bronze or iron age settlement remains have been found comprising roundhouses, fields and clearance cairns extending a little to the right but more extensively to the left. In the rough pasture far right of the farmhouse are the footings of an earlier farmstead and more post medieval remains are to be found in the small triangular field at the centre left hand edge of the photograph.
