Scope and Content Standing stones at Nether Largie, Kilmartin, Argyll and Bute This complex setting of standing stones is at Nether Largie. At either end of the alignment there are pairs of upright stones. Between these are two groups of four and five stones respectively. About 100m to the north is an outlying stone. This view shows the group of five stone, comprising a large central stone and two pairs of flankers. The south-west face of the central stone is carved with about forty cup and cup-and-ring marks. The whole setting is aligned roughly north-east/south-west. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
