Scope and Content The photo looks onto the flat summit of the rocky hill above the Daviot quarry. Clearly visible is Dun Davie, the mutilated remains of a sub-oval fort, with a possible vitrified outer defence, probably early Bronze Age to Pictish. It is listed in the Atlas of Hillforts of Britain and Ireland. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
