Scope and Content The image shows part of a rich archaeological landscape on a ridge east of the Garbh Allt, known in the 19th-C as Rogart Park, with extensive areas of rig and furrow. "On a low ridge of pasture surrounded by bog on two sides there is a township, a nineteenth century farmstead and field, five hut-circles, a burnt mound, and a field-system." (Canmore). A longhouse, rectangular enclosure and hut circle are visible in the foreground of the image, with another longhouse and an irregular enclosure to their right.
