Scope and Content Prior to the building of the Allanfrean sewage treatment works (centre in the photo) excavations investigated the partial remains of burial cairns (Neolithic?) square and round barrows, enclosures, and a round house showing a period of occupation. In the foreground is the railway line Inverness to Aberdeen and the A96. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
