Scope and Content The A95 is extreme left. Loch Nan Carraigean is in the centre crossed by the railway line between Inverness and Perth. Around the Loch is a settlement of five oval prehistoric hut circles and an associated field system, with clearance cairns, field walls and lynchets. To the right of the railway on the nearside of the loch is an impressive Clava ring-cairn, slightly damaged on its S side. Beside it is another cairn.
