Scope and Content Cromarty is in the foreground, the near right side was the Fishertown settlement. The jetty coming from Nigg (top R of the photo) serves the oil terminal. Cromarty House in the foreground is a classical mansion built in 1772. It sits in a designed landscape and has an ice house, stables and servant's tunnel. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
