Scope and Content Armadale is a small community which dates back to the C13. It's situated at Armadale Bay to the east of Bettyhill. There are several sites of archaeological interest in the area - longhouses, field systems and cairns. Armadale House, built in 1845, is on the main road on the curve at lower right.
