Scope and Content Carnachy lies between Syre and Bettyhill in Strathnaver on the west side of the River Naver. There is an extensive settlement site and some prehistoric remains in this area, as well as a possible battle site. Carnachy Broch, on the L of the photo, is on the south side of the Carnachy Burn which runs into the River Naver.
