Scope and Content Most of this image features the SE end of The Ord, an extensive Scheduled Monument comprising chambered cairns, cairns, settlements and field systems, including numerous hut circles. In lower right of the image is a large enclosure with turf and stone enclosure bank truncated by the A839 road. Two hut circles are seen in centre foreground, with what appear to be field clearance cairns to their left and extensive rig and furrow beyond. At upper right, the area within the angle formed by the two roads includes hut circles. At upper left corner, the Little Loch Shin Dam regulates the flow of the River Shin.
