Scope and Content The oval enclosure to right of road is recorded as a cattle- or sheep-fold, abandoned in the 18th/19th-C. To left of road, before the burn, are several prehistoric hut circles, associated by HER with field clearance heaps on the land beyond the burn. Land in the lower right foreground of photograph, to right of road, is part of the crofting township of Rossal, depicted on Roy's map in the 18th-C.
