Scope and Content A close view of the centre of Strathpeffer. The largest building in the lower left is the Highland Hotel which served as part of a hospital in WW1 and to its right, across the main road, is St Anne's Scottish Episcopal Church of 1892. Above that the long aisled building is the Strathpeffer Pavilion and to its left, back across the road, the octagonal building is on the site of the 19th century main pump room and baths. In the upper left is the Free Church and upper right the Ben Wyvis Hotel, which was another part of the WW1 hospital complex.
