Scope and Content This view shows the settlement of Ardmair (Canmore ID 104666) to the north of Ullapool. A camping and caravan site occupies some of the peninsular but in former days it was a crofting township (HER: MHG21383). Some buildings, the remains of a harbour and a boat naust (Canmore ID 136140) are on the shoreline. On the right of the view the east tip of Isle Martin is seen; this island has an early Christian chapel and graveyard (Canmore ID 12091) and was developed as a fishing station in the 18th century.
