Scope and Content A very wide view of Portmahomack from over the golf course. In the upper right the harbour and centre left the Manse. Immediately above that the old parish church with burial ground located within a peckish monastic settlement. The church now houses numerous early medieval carved stones found within the site and further afield in the village. To the left of the church the monastic industrial area with a mill and the structures where metals, glass, leather and horn were worked.
